In March 2012, the Centers for Disease Control announced that 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with autism. This has drawn global attention with over 71 percent of Americans expressing interest in learning more about autism alone. More and more autistic students are sharing their stories through social media, but only few have shared experiences of overcoming their daily challenges. ‘Suitcase’ is an inspirational and educational documentary about a student doing just that. Along with interviews that include doctors Scott Hunter and Kathleen Hopkins, this film brings fun and encouraging news that Autism is nothing but an obstacle.
